iTunes 4.7 seems to advertise new service called DACP, which might be digital audio control protocol. The service accepts connection on the same port with DAAP, 3689. There's a thread in daap-dev mailing list about hacking this new protocol, but as of this moment no one has been successful in hacking it to control iTunes remotely.
