YAPC::Asia

YAPC::Asia 2006 Tokyo was a great success. I want to thank everybody for coming to the conference, especially amazing speakers from abroad. (perl community)++

I did my first talk of Plagger which I think was also a great success. I wrote my slide in English and spoke in Japanese, just like other hackers from Japan. Some English talks also contain subtitles on the bottom just like anime/film subtitles, which also worked really well.

Tomorrow and Saturday we'll have a Hackathon. I'll hack Plagger, XML::Atom, XML::Feed and possibly some stuff that interested me during the conference, just like Jifty.

Today, I added a new term to my English dictionary. Takahashi (v): make the font size of slides really huge. "Takahashi that one." -- Larry Wall
