So I'm now in Taiwan, Chupei city. I am here for just 4 days short trip as part of my 11 days Golden Week holidays.
I finally got to my friend, gugod's place 10pm, which was supposed to be 8pm. The story is: I took a taxi and showed the street address to the driver. The driver dropped me off in a pretty unknown place. I didn't have a mobile phone and the taxi driver doesn't either, and he doesn't speak any English nor Japanese more than just "Hello" and "Thank you", so we couldn't communicate anything.
Well, Gugod gave me a wrong address, which is actually his parents' place, not his current place. D'oh.
Soon I figured out that the address was wrong, and walked down to the main street to find out which way to go. The street was kind of faimilar to me so I had a good hope to finally find the place. But suddenly it started to shower like hell terribly, so I gave up.
I escaped to a place with roof from rain, and opened up my laptop, find some unsecured WiFi accesspoint. And there was one. I found gugod online in AIM and told him "Hey, you told me the wrong address, huh?". He admitted that and I told the street address where I was. 5 minutes later he came to the place and we went to a cafe to wait for the shower to stop.
In a cafe I opened up my travel itinerary sheet and found that I have writtend down "the correct" street address of gugod's on a paper, because I needed it in January when I visited here. Hmmm.
Anyway, I'll be here until May 1st.
