Plagger 0.6.0 and 0.6.1 released

Thanks to the effors in YAPC::Asia Hackathon, I'm proud to announce the release of Plagger 0.6.1.

0.6.x release highlights easy-to-create Custom Feed and Entry FullText API. With a few lines of .pl code, or virtualy-no-code YAML files, you can create Custom Feed and/or upgrade existing content-less feeds to rich full-text feeds.

You can browse svn repository for EntryFullText pattern files how to register your own pattern files. With these, you can declare "I know how to parse URL XXX, the rule is just follow the link matches with YYY. And if you want to fetch full-content feeds, just parse the HTML with the following regexp and capture them into these keys, parse date with a following strftime format!".

Very sexy.

Upgrader your economy class feeds (just tile only) to Business Class (rich-text with full date format) now, using Plagger 0.6.x.

YAPC::Asia YAPC::Asia 2006 Tokyo was a great success. I want to thank everybody for coming to the conference, especially amazing speakers from abroad. (perl community)++ I did my first talk of Plagger which I think was also a great success. I wrote my slide in English and spoke in Japanese, just like other hackers from Japan. Some English talks also contain subtitles on the bottom just like anime/film subtitles, which also worked really well. Tomorrow and Saturday we'll have a Hackathon. I'll hack Plagger, XML::Atom, XML::Feed and possibly some stuff that interested me during the conference, just like Jifty. Today, I added a new term to my English dictionary.
